Help with Q45 Air Cleaner

I had to remove the air cleaner and related paraphernalia in order to fix the headlight ballast on my dad's 2002 Q45. While I was poking around on it, I opened the air cleaner box. Now I can't close it. Can someone explain those clips to me? Am I supposed to stick a flat screwdriver into them and shove as hard as I can?

The clips on the perimeter of the air filter box under the hood? The lid must be on and aligned correctly. Then you put that tab back close to where it belongs. Then your press really hard on the middle of it, where it's curved and that should straighten it a bit, making it longer, and it will hook over the lid. Your post is a few days old so I'm guessing you've figured it out already. Props for helping your old man with his car!
