Help with overheating engine!

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Okay, I've replaced the waterpump, thermostat, radiator and even the radiator cap. The engine still overheats, from what I can tell some heat still enters the coolant resevoir which causes it to boil up. I'm guessing there might still be a leak, but I don't know exactly. I forgot, it's a 1990 hatch.

you might have air in your coolant system. jack the front of the car up as much as possible and unscrew the bleeder screw on the manifold. let that sucker run for 30 minutes

make sure to bleed it for a while.

you might want to RE-Check the thermostat. i replaced mine and it was still "bad" so we took it out and it was fine, went and bought another new one and it's fine. justa thought.

that wouldnt be a bad idea, i think if you throw it in boiling water, the thermostat will open

or maybe it keeps over heating because you keep going super FAST

super_Fast......brother #1.) bro your going to have to learn some basic car care...you need to read a few books,maybe ask a mechanic a few basic questions about the basics...read a few mags..i dont mean ..look at the girls/cars and call it good..im talking down and dirty reading.....you lack an esential element of doing basic maintanance...(SA) brand auto books are a start..may i allso recomend a magazine (project Car)....as for your over heating...RJ is usually not far from your issue as he is leet bro in this world...i might allso ask do you have smoke from the tail pipe?...hows your belt look for the water pump?...has your radiator ever been flushed of the **** that builds up over time?...and..are you low on engine oil?..as oil allso cools the engine...let us know..and please get back to us here...good luck
