help with oil pressure sensor removal

I was under the car (s13, blacktop sr) tring to hook up my oil pressure gauge and I can't find a reasonable angle to get at the sending unit to remove it. I have a 26mm wrench, as stated in that article, and it seems a tad too small. What is the easiest angle/way to get the sensor off? Anyone?

I just used vice grips.
