Help With Odometer Readings

This may sound crazy at first but here is the situation. I normally get gas at Costco when I need it. Each time I fill up I reset the trip gauge. From Costco to my house has always been 2.5 miles. Now when I get home and look it is now 2.7 miles. Nothing has changed in my driving distance . It is a straight shot home,no lane changes,detours,etc.

This may sound silly but if the odometer is now off it will equate to an extra 2 miles for every 25 I drive.

Is there anything in the CVT that could contribute to this?

maybe you went around the costco parking lot a different way or more times than u normally do.

Maybe your tires shrunk a little bit thus getting less distance per revolution of the tires Check your tire pressure???
