Hello,I have a 2004 G35 Coupe with the check engine light on. The diag codes are P2128 APP sensor circuit high input and P2138 APP sensor circuit range/performance problem.

Can anyone tell me how to trouble shoot this problem, or know a good resource to do so?

I can't really afford to take it to the dealer to get it fixed right now, and am hoping someone on here has some ideas I can try my self.

Thanks

Welcome to nico!, did you try searching on google for those codes? you never know what you might find out there. Or also look in your owners manual. Thats about all the help i can give you though.

Its going to most likely be a bad sensor BUT check your fuse box for blown fuses and check the wiring at the sensor. You could try cleaning the sensor with electronics parts cleaner.
