I'm new to this site but have been a backyard mechanic for 30 years. I have one vehicle with over 300k miles. I always look for the best value and keep them running. When we found a 1995 pathfinder for $800.00 for my son I thought we found another deal. The body is in great shape with a strong engine even though it had high miles.
But only after getting it high in the air did we notice the rotting of the frame in the right rear area only!!!! Very bizarre, I have never scene this kind of rusting in one area only. It is bad enough that repairs are not looking good. We would like to find a Pathfinder with a good frame that may have been in a front-end damage. Or, perhaps someone else has another solution. Are there after market parts that can be welded in?TIASharpfocus
