Do you have a good set of tools/decent mechanical knowledge/a service manual?

What all do you need to know?

Its a fairly big job. I have done this a couple of timesmyself. If you have the right tools and time on your hands I would recommend you get yourself a service manual to help you along.

A factory service manual will give you a good step by step. Follow the steps and take your time.

I dont mean to be callous. I really just think that is best advice to give you.

scroll about half way down the page and read up. I would only use this to get acqaunted with the procedure. You are much better off with a FSM, they sell on ebay for about $60 I think.

I'm not sure how anyone else did this, but I had to pull down the bracket that connects to the bottom of the intake manifold gasket (its below on the left side if you're facing the windshield of ur car). Make sure you tag all of the hoses (unless God blesses you and you get it right the first time...experience speaking). Just take your time and take pics to help remember where stuff goes. Other than that the book pretty much guides you...minus the part where it says to torque it down in 23 stages to 1215 lbs. I'm pretty sure they meant 12-15, lol. But most importantly just be patient and take your time.

-hope that helps.
