I have another question for everyone... I have a 96 240sx, body is now a jdm kouki.. sitting on stock suspension with oem se wheels... I've done some looking around and found out you can put 350z wheels on them without the need of spacers or anything... so I went and bought a set of the touring ones (the 5 spoked ones) and when I tried putting one on I ran into a problem.. The tire actually sits under the suspension springs... and when you let the jack down the spring actually compresses on the wheel.. So, I am confused? Everyone says they fit without the need of spacers or anything.. Can someone give me some info on this?

Stock spring / strut is likely too big. They probably fit with coilovers.

There's an inch difference in diameter between the 350Z wheel with proper sized tires versus the S14 wheel with tire. It's 26" for the Z and 24.6" for the S14. The spring perches are designed to be close for maximum travel with the factory setup, so I'm not surprised that you're running into this problem. I had a similar revelation when I tried to put my GKTech drop knuckles on my S13 with KYB struts. Had to go coilover.

And there's no spacer in the world you can run that will help that wheel clear your stock suspension bits.
