The check engine light came on in my car, I ran the codes and came back with a knock sensor code. The light went off after a week or so, I ran the codes and it had stored it. The car has significantly less power now. Any pointers, or ideas? The car is all stock. Thanks!

Replace it is the correct thing to do.

the knock sensor is there for your safety, when there is a "knock" from probably timing, combustion before spark perhaps on your car, it retards the timing so you dont detonate the engine! or you just have a bad sensor that thinks thats the problem.
