help with my 5 speed swap

ok right now i have a 93 s13 coupe w/ ka24de. and well i have already changed it to a 5 speed but the ecu is still auto. so i ordered a manual ecu from ebay. and well i talked to the guy that said when he swapped it, he had to cross these 2 wires so the ecu would always think the car is in park. or something kinda like but thats what he said. but basically i can start the car with out putting in the clutch. and well my question is do i need to cross those wires back to thier orgiinal wires? and what else might i need to think of for finishing this project? i also looked at some of the other swap topics but none of them seemed to match my need of help.

I don't think you need to cross them back. I jumped that solenoid so I could start my car without pressing in the clutch for my remote start, and it was originally a 5-speed. So you should be good to go.
