I am looking into getting a 240sx, I was thinking 1995 and up I want a lsd and one without a sun roof. did they make a model with such a package?

i am just asking for a quick reference as to what model had the lsd. and every single 240 sx i have seen in my life has had a god damned sun roof I want to know if they are hard to find or not.

the LSDs came on the SEs with ABS, and SEs (most of the ones I've seen around here) have sunroofs soo...

Look for a 96 as the SE package didnt come standard with a sunroof iirc. 96's got jacked on a few of the standard SE options the 95 got. But sunroofs in a s14 are stupid, as my helmet hits the 2" lower roof, but clears perfectly in my non sunroof SE

Come to think of it... If I had a sunroof, I would tear it out, weld the roof back up, and put a non sunroofed liner in

be mad jdm tyte and weld ur sunroof shut w/ sheetmetal (remove the sunroof aparture first lol)

No joke as I would If I had one.... They remove that much headroom that it would be worth it to me to weld it up and use a standard headliner.

Ignore these jerks, they're just messing with you:D

As ZERO and 96 said, that package is available. If you find a '95 SE with the ABS package, it comes with an LSD, and sunroof was another option. A '96 SE with ABS will not always have an LSD, but it was an option. Good luck with your search, I've been looking for one for months, they are tough suckers to find at a decent price

Keep in mind you can always install an LSD afterwards for a few hundred dollars, its not too hard, and there's a write up on how to do it at the top of the forum...

yeah i prolly could have but it would take a long time for me to figure out what key words to use. I thank you all that have taken the time to write and tell me what packages had what.btw a 240 is a 240sx our lame assed accuse for a s13/s14

i'm glad my 240sx doesnt have a sunroof because i'm gonna put T-Tops on it probably =)
