Look on ARPs website to see if the studs have the same dimensions.

go to ace hard ware, i bought a few there there 2.40 each, i would never pay 160 bucks for 12 studs thats rediculous

just take a stud out of your motor and match it up

you ARE kidding right?you'll trust the main girdle and crank to a bolt you bought at ace hardware that proly isnt even grade 6?that has to be the most rediculous thing ive heard...main studs are subjected to rather extreme tensile loads.i'd rather reuse stock hardware than do that...that is just irrsponsible and ill educated.

they are either grade 6 or 8, almost 3 a piece at ace is a pretty penny for a stud, i bought 4 turbo studs from there with all stainless bolts and lock washers id punch my self in the face before i spent that much on arp ani bolts, head studs yeah i can understand, manifold studs not so much

i just said they have em also, i reused my stock ones caz they were fine i jsut bought 6 studs 4 for turbo and 2 for wastegate, i was jsut sayin they have em...

if he only needs 2 or so, it would be fine to use, jsut helping him out carl.

we are talking about main studs/bolts... hence the ones that hold the crank to the engine block. Not the studs that merely hold your turbo manifold up.

Slight difference.

haha, yea. I'm using ace stuff to hold my turbo on, but would never dream of using them anywhere on the inside of my motor.

the OP was asking about main studs aka main girdle studs, not manifold bolts.
