help with lower ball joint removal

I was wondering if anyone has any info or experience in removing the rear ball joints on an s14 240sx thanks

Take it to a shop and have them press them out. You have to get the new one's pressed in anyways so you might as well just let them do all the hard work.

^ He's right. The only way you can do them without a press is to burn the old ones out with a torch, freeze the new ones and hammer them in there. Easier and worth the money to pay a shop.

AutoZone rents Ball Joint removal/press kit. Took me 30 min to do both front ones, may take longer to do rears but pretty simple and straight forward. GL!

I assume he's talking about removing the top of the joint from the spindle, not removing the ball joint from the LCA.

If so, big hammer to just pop the ball joint out (just use a rubber hammer, or a piece of wood on the LCA so you don't damage it).
