If anyone can help out, please let me know where I can find the majority of the things I need for the swap/mod. I have the XS Power manifold, T25/28 turbo, turbo-back exhaust, Front Mount, and other misc doo-dads/fittings.I need to know what kind of ECU to buy...I need FMIC piping for the KA-TIf I need an SAFC 1 or 2Turbo timersblah blah etc. etc.

Any info would be great.I've been reading the KA-T boards, but I don't want to clutter anything up.Hopefully I can get ahold of someone who's done a few of these. I'm an old school V-8 Junky that is trying to go ricer/import. lol
But yea, everyone has been great on here with their help so far. Maybe one day I can give someone else advice, rather than leech info for a change.
Thanks again,Eric
Stock ECU is fine as long as you get a SAFC1 or 2 until you start throwing big HP numbers down. Just make sure you get it wideband tuned at a dyno when it's ready. You can find a SAFC at apexi's website, (
www.apexi.com) or you can search the classified forums/check out the sponsor's of NICO - people sell them from time to time.
As for FMIC piping, look around your city for places that make piping...they'd probably be able to rig up something - otherwise try out some of our sponsors here at NICO - they'd probably be able to hook you up with what you need.
Turbo Timer is kind of pointless for such a basic set-up in my opinion, if you want to extend it's life just take it easy and don't really let the turbo boost for the last minute or two of your drive.....just changing the oil religiously and getting into synthetic is usually enough.....once you start upping boost and getting bigger turbos and you want to whomp it all the time...then a turbo timer might be a good idea - but if you really want one - again apexi or greddy make good ones, or search the classified sections/put up a WTB (want to buy) ad - you may find what you're looking for.
The only thing I'm not seeing in your list which is crucial are injectors. With your set-up the injectors from a SR will do fine (370cc), otherwise if you want to some nice 550cc injectors would be great as well, but aren't neccessarily needed - but you WILL need to replace the stock ones from the KA motor, they don't work for **** when you get into boosting. Again - search the classifieds, or look at our sponsor's - you'll find em.
Good luck with your project!
