help with intake manifold

ok guys I just got all the bolts out all 7 of them in my ka24e and when I try to pry it off with a crowbar its just kinda budges. is there anything that I can use to help me get the intake off more easy? same thing with the exhaust manifold. thanks

Try removing the lower support for the plenum, then push the plenum down a little. Then the manifold should come out with a little moving around.

sorry I'm not that good with terms...but what is the plenum?

its the tank part of the intake manifold right behind the throttle plate.

make sure you unbolt every nut and bolts that holding the intake manifold to the cylinder head.once everything cleared away just sit your butt on it,it will falls off.........make sure you catch it ok! lol
