OK.... I had a cone filter installed on my car and tonight I installed an Injen intake... I know I screwed up last time so this time I was very carefull on making sure I plug eveything in. I checked all the plugs and made sure they are plugged in.

what is happening is when I start my car, it dies... it idles fine for like 5 seconds and then stalls.... why is it doing that???

I double, tripple checked all the wires adn plugs and they are all plugged in... I dont have the engine check light on or anything.

can anyone help me figure this out?

I know it doesn't sound like you touched the fuel system, but can you check the fuel pressure? Injected or carbureted? Injectors can be spot-checked with an automotive stethoscope.

Edit: I moved this thread; Dr. John or Reverend D are far more likely to be able to help.

If you have changed the int. check for vac. leaks. Use a vac gauge to check the vac. it should be 18 to 21 inch of vac. at idle. You can start the car and spray some carb or brake cleaner around the int. and when the engine speeds up that is where your leak is. Be careful these chemicals are flamable and heat and sparks could cause a fire.
