help with ignition chip?

Can anyone show me where and what the ignition chip is on the car or motor? I was told to make sure the motor I bought has it. I bought a whole motor, with ECU and harness.....is the chip on the harness? I would appreciate any pics or instructions.

its a small black chip that pretty much hangs off the engine harness, its about 2"x2", you can miss it either its there or its not, if you dont have one you can get it off an infinity Q45
