Help with hose lines on RB20det

Finally wrapping up mu RB20det install. Engine runs fine but idles extremely high. There are two lines that im not sure where the hoses route to, are they the two lines at the top of the picture, if so what is the correct order?

if Im not mistaken the bottom comes from the brake booster and the top is an extra vacuum source, I ran my boost gauge from there.

Can un-shielded MAF wires also cause a high idle? I have a hose now attached for the boost gauge but not the brake booster vacuum line.

unshielded wires could cause your mafs to read higher than it should at idle (by getting interference from the power wire), which could cause more fuel to be burned, but I dont know how it would affect your idle. Ive never heard of it.

just use the stock brake booster hose from your ka and extend it to reach the rb's. YOU MUST keep the one-way check valve that was on the KA's brake booster hose the way way it was. this check valve prevent any boost to travel into your brake booster

Just a brief update ..

Turned out to be maf wiring. First disconnected the maf, started the engine and it idled fine intill i got on the throttle which caused an erratic idle. Connected the maf again, but switched the groung wires which did the trick. Idles perfect, gave a couple of blurps on the throttle, and engine returnes to idle fine.

Took her out for a ride around the block, with no hood, and noticed smoke. Turns out the turbo is blown If anyone has a RB20 turbo laying that doesnt need it hit me up.

it might not be blown just a little leaky.... keep driving it and it might eventually go away or be minimal. the seals tend to leak when the motors sit for an extended period of time.

yes.. that smoke happemedto my also.. it went away.. and it ran very nice.. after that..

I let the car run for about 5 minutes yesterday, no smoke from the engine compartment which is good, but there is alot of white smoke from the exhaust. I'm really lost now, maybe I have a bad head gasket.
