Help with HID problem

I have a 2000 Infiniti i30t. The headlight went out so i bought a replacement and my brother and I put them in and there is a problem. First off, when i turn the lights on, the right one barely turns on and it takes like 1 minute to fully turn on. The left one will turn on for about 5 seconds and right before it warms up the light will go out. Anybody have any ideas what is wrong?

Have you checked out the ballasts and the associated wiring?

i have looked to see if the wires were messed up, but they all seemed to be in play and sturdy. It's just weird how they turn off almost instantaneously after trying to warm up.

Where did you buy the replacement from?

Hi, Please double check if the ballast is bad. The best way is to swap the bulbs to diagnose the problem thanks~
