No idea if the brass T thing is there or not.. cant hardly see at all back there..jdm_master_X wrote:looks okay to me. do you still have that brass T shaped kinda pipe that all the coolant lines meet at (behind the motor)? toss it or cut it up.
The lower heater core hose, does indeed, go straight to under the intake.. the upper goes behind the head, then is fed back into an upper line, looped-back, which goes back behind the head, and FWICT, goes under the intake as well. The third, on the drivers side, has a cut hose, visible in the 2nd picture in the top posting, and on the pass. side, it has a piece of hose, not connected to anything, just laying on the bellhousing..jdm_master_X wrote:well the hose in the back is supposed to take the shape of a U. the lower nipple on the heater core goes under the intake manifold.
here is a before and after comparison of what the heater hoses are when you get the SR (routed for RHD), then after (when rerouted for LHD)qwikxr wrote:is there such a freakin thing as a diagram or something concerning the heater core, plumbing, etc? in the FSM, the hvac section seems to only talk about the AC side..
You are, indeed, my hero.. Ok, now it makes total sense, as to what was done on mine..jdm_master_X wrote:
