I put in new stock head and cams. All timing chains, lower and upper are lined up. Every thing put together the way it came off. Crank on TDC, distributor rotor on #1, wont start.
I checked injectors, all OK. Took #1 sparkplug and turned over engine, gas came out sparkplug hole, so fuel OK. Put sparkplug against valve cover to check spark, everything OK
Checked coil on OHM meter, reading 2 ohms, OK. Checked sparkplug wires to make sure correct firing sequence, OK.
Anybody run into the same situation or have any suggestions as to were I look???
Thanks in advance :yesnod
I did notice one strange thing, when I hooked up my timing light to rotate the distributor if needed while it was turning over, the light was not blinking, when hooked up to #1 sparkplug wire. It was working fine with this car before I started dismantling it.
Could I be out 180???? I dont thing so.
Thanks again
