help with EGR tube

fiznat i know you had a write up..but i gotta ask

how the hell do you take the tube off?! must i take the whole egr valve off? i cant fit anything in there! do you have to fin da big wrench to turn it? or will the 2 small bolts on top of the Tube do? im trying to do this without taking off the whole valve itself but its becoming very difficult...im trying to take it off so i can seal it off with a metal plate

Took me forever to take that off the first time, but the way I did it was to loosen the two 10mm bolts on the intake side, remove the stock catalytic converter & downpipe, loosen exhaust manifold, and finally fit a wrench in there to loosen the thing.

steven - the plate that im sending you to block it off, goes right under the #4 intake runner. if you look at it you will see a bolt on each side of the runner and one right under the runner. take this off and the entire tube will come out and cap off any other vaccuum lines

Just started thinking...I'll need to cap it off when I go turbo won't I?I get my kit this week Also where do you get the caps?I need to cap off my whole SOHC.And once I due this......
