help with ecu

oh i know this is a noob question and i feel like a dork for asking, but where is the ecu on the car?

that is one thing that i have never looked for in this car.

what would be the jdm twin of my 90 maxima?

the U12 Bluebird looks like the max a bit but im not sure. i want to get the jdm one so i can set the apexi rsm right

The U12 is kind of related but not the same car. It's the same as the USDM Stanza (predecessor to the Altima). The J30 (third-gen) Maxima is odd in that it was the Maxima everywhere. Later Maximas were Cefiro-derived, and earlier Maximas were Bluebird-derived. The J30 was a separate model that shared some architecture with the U12 but was a lot bigger.

It was still called the Maxima, even in Japan. It was pretty much the same car worldwide.

As for your ECU question, it's on the right side of the driver footwell, behind the center console. The TCU is there as well.
