Hello!

I have ’07 G35x sedan. I had issues with the cold engine start, so I went to my local dealer here, in Ukraine and hefound it to be ITB07-045a

This ITB is suitable for me, I had ECM part number: 23710-JK69A_V36_VQ35HR_4WD_AT_ACC and I had to change it to ECM 23710-JK69C_V36_VQ35HR_4WD_AT_ACC. (Rev. A -> Rev. C).

My dealer found, that Rev. D is available for my car and upgraded my ECM to it.

But now, my throttle sensitivity seems to be very low with this Rev. D and I want it back to be high!

I found ITB08-017a that applies to “throttle sensitivity” and makes it lower and can be applied toRev. A, B, C – but it is not written, that it is Rev. D.

So the questions are:

1) Does Rev. D “fix” this “high throttle sensitivity” and Rev. C does not?2) If my dealer will reprogramm my ECM to Rev. C, will I be happy?

Not sure what you speak of... but have your dealer do the adjustments and see how you like it.

It costs me about 70$ to change my ECM, as it's USA-market car so my local dealer orders ECMs from the USA (and I have to wait 5 days).

If you work as Infiniti technician, can you ask somebody at your work about my problem (lower throttle sensitivity) - maybe car's electrician? So the main question is - if I buy this Rev. C ECM, will it give me back this "slightly increased throttle sensitivity"?

Today I came to my dealer and he said he can order and upload the older Rev. C of the ECM to my car, but he doesn’t know if it helps.

So, the question is – will this Rev. C (23710-JK69C) help me to get my “increased throttle sensitivity” back? Or was it already fixed in Rev. B, Rev. C, so only Rev. A had it? I don’t want to waste 70$ for nothing.

Well, my car adopted for my "spirited" driving, and maybe I am adopted too I think, for the winter (and it's REALLY cold and snowy here) it would be better to use "less sensitive" throttle.

But, at spring, I want to come back to this question so I gather information about differences between Rev. C and Rev. D of the ECM!
