I've seen new GT28Rs go for $650-$750 new from retailers. Do a Google search.

is this a picture thread or what, do you really have to attach large ugly pictures of your car to every post?

Definatly try to get something w/ a warrenty as the others have stated. You'll need to purchase motor mounts, injectors, Z32 MAF, and a Walbro fuel pump (this feels like another thread). Car looks great! It's that time of the month for some, so don't take the hateful remarks too seriously. Best of luck!

we had a customer buy one we installed it, it lasted no more then 500miles with out even getting into boost the majority of time, he drove out to VA beach from ohio and made it about 4 hours before it went out. he was two hours or more from his destination. and had to spend part of his two week vacation searching for a fix.

do not cheap out on your turbo... if you want a cheap turbo get a garrett out of the junk yard from a factory turbo car, rock that till it blows smoke and toss it or have it rebuilt for 125-200$.

also ive been hearing rumors of price increases comming on garrett turbos from two seprate suppliers im a distributor for. cost of materials are climbing fast. so might want to get one soon

If you know how to use the rebuild kit, that the best bet. Shop in my town that works on Turbo deisels wanted $400.00 to rebuild a T25. They say it's all factory specs. I imagine some of that was in labor, but as you can guess, I didn't go for it. I bought another new turbo. From metal to gas, everything is getting rare. Soon we'll be paying $10.00 for a box of Rice Crispies! Revoluiton? Good Luck!
