So I've balled up the manual crank operator on my 92 coupe. The cables are totally crossed over each other and it's near impossible to undo, not to mention the plastic cable clips that hold the cable sleeves to the crank assembly are broken or missing.
I have a door to a 91 hatch that has electric windows, but I didn't keep the rocker switch on the door panel when I stripped the car. I'm assuming I could buy a switch assembly somewhere or another manual crank assembly. So what would be easier, swapping doors (and handles to match the lock) and hooking up the electric window and buying a switch, or buying another crank assembly and fixing it that way.
Anyone had to fix one of these? Fortunately I got the window most of the way to the top, but tolls, and drive-throughs will suck til I replace it.
