I would take to an uphostery shop for repair. Is the damage area actually leather? I have a repair kit for something like this but it is much trickier on leather than it is on the vinyl areas in my other car but the kit is suppose to be able to handle that as well. One problem with the kit is that you have to pick a pattern that is close to yours and of course there is none that are the same. Then you need to color match using the kit which of course is also hard to do. I still would take it into a shop personally unless you really know what you are doing.

Keep in mind the alternative for a non-sport package could be something like this:

For the sport package it is:

What part was damaged, the bottom cushion?

I think this girl better be really 'nice' from now on. Maybe she could rent you a replacement seat. As another option I hear they are going cheap in Fairfax.

What is your deductable for insurance as maybe this could be a covered item.

I think that looks fixable at an uphostery shop without replacement.

yes, they should be able to fill it and dye it. however, how long the repair will last for is a ?? since the damage is in a high-traffic area..

Maybe instead of a normal fix one could have a shop do a custom addition to both sides.

Maybe a car rental would fix this?
