help with cylinder 2 i believe!!

ok well after i got my rb20 started up and running, i checked to see if my coilpacks were good. So as the motor was on i would remove the coilpack plug and it would start reacting(shaking to be exact) ...connect the plug back in and it would be fine. My problem is that when i do this to cylinder #2 it does not react, i tried swithching the coilpacks around to check if it was that but no luck..checked if i was getting spark and i was..does this mean that its only running on 5 cylinders..what could be wrong?? injector?

could be a fuel injector.

Have you done a compression test?

you know i was... but i got pissed because of the results.... first on #1 i got 120 then on #2 i got 100...tried it again and got 190...and #3 i got 120...so i got mad..cause i really hope i didnt get a bad motor and stoped..hopefully i was just doing it wrong

Do a leak down test.It's better.

Now with the Spark test.Did you visually check or did you just check for the reaction of the motor?Because if your ignitor is bad then like the other guy who just posted up, it would kill one or more signals to your coils.

Visually check the Spark and then pull the rail and disconnect the injectors and then connect them to the battery and see if they fire.Or you could also check to see if each one is ticking.

i checked spark visuallly...and you could also hear it sparking....hmm..what other ignitors work besides the rb20 one..
