i went to take my car to get it inspected and the guy told me i needed alot of things totaling up to 800 plus dollars

heres what he said

1) i needed new ball joints and that i cant just get the ball joint i needed to buy the whole assembly, which i though was strange

2) i need to get new arm that connects the lower control arm to the chassis towards the front of the car, the bushing is gone but he said i couldn't get just the bushing i need to buy the entire arm which was very expensive.

well that all totaled to 851 dollars with labor and i say EFF THAT so can you 240 suspension experts help me cuz right now im riding around with a rejection sticker.

thanks Michael Pruett

u can get new front ball joint separately but the rear u new the whole control arm with the ball joint pressed in from oem. Are you talking about the tension rod if so those bushing are cheap as hell and u can some energy suspensions or white lines from pdm. Should be more than 350 from the top of my head and of course u doing it your self. The only thing i can think that would be pricey is new control ams for the rear i think they/re like 170 a piece from nissan.

You can buy the front ball joints from MOOG, I don't have the part number...sorry. With rear ball joints you are kinda screwed. For $170 each rlca you might want to buy a pair of the adjustable kind from one of the vendors. Front tc rods are cake and should cost you $40 for both bushings. You can do it yourself if you have the right tools in about an hour.

This guy sounds like he is ripping you off though. I'd get a second opinion from a knowledgable 240 owner.
