Been planning on getting coilovers or lowering springs for my M35H HY51. All I want to do is eliminate wheel gap. I left springs out the picture and still currently saving up for some BCs.
However, a guy I've seen for a while in Houston with a 56S showed up and he was using Megans coilovers. Typical 10k/8k setup. He's returning is M and getting a lexus and offered me his Megans for $500
He swears they only have 4k miles on them and a lot can happen with 4k miles.
Is this a good deal or should I just continue saving and get the BCs?

First thing you should do is find out if the coilovers will fit your M35h. My suspicions are that there are no coilovers available for the hybrid.

From what I've seen when I compared both owners manuals the struts and springs have the same part numbers as the M37. Is there anything else I should check? Spring rates? I'll just save up and do it right then. BCs are still in my budget.

I would just go with new coilovers.

As long as they're both RWD they'll work. If they legitimately have 4K miles on them, then $500 is a good deal.
