i just put in a clutchmaster stage 2 clutch last month. Everything was fine until last week when my clutch started slipping. When i shift, the rpm would still continue to raise like i was in neutral then it would catches. Anyone knows what is wrong with it? also the flywheel was cut. i have a 95 240sx.

did you grease up the throwout bearing before you reinstalled it? It sounds like it's catching, so when you take your foot off the pedal to rengage the clutch, the fork isn't pivoting back at first and is relying on the strength of the pressure plate to push it back.

pressure plate should push it right out though, is there gear oil on the bottlm of the bell housing, if there is a leak in the front seal, then oil would get on the disk and it would slip

Is there alot of presure in the pedal, even when you first start pushing in the pedal? make sure there is 1/4-1/2" of freeplay in the pedal before it starts getting firm and movin stuff

what might be happening is the clutch is never being fully engaged, make sure that freeplay is there at the top!!!

scroll down to my post in this thread to see how to adujst the pedal
