I'm looking at the ACT HDSS(Heavy duty pressure plate w/ street disk), the ACT HDR6(Heavy duty 6 pad) and the SPEC stage 3.My car is gonna be a daily driver, which clutch would last longer and would hold up to at least 300lbs/tq?Any suggestions would be appreciate.THANKS!

I would say stick with a sprung street disk for daily driving up to 300hp. For a little extra money you could get a ACT XTSS (extreme pressure plate/street disk) This didnt slip once when I was pushing over 300whp on my KAT and it was very streatable. I have no experiance with SPEC, but my exedy on my SR now has been going strong for 30k miles and I got it used with the motor set so I those are good too, although im not 100% sure if exedy makes one for the ka.

How long do you think the ACT XTSS would last?I don't want to be switching out after like 10000 miles.

Might be a little overkill for your power but Clutchmasters Stage 5. I have it and its awesome. And for $309 its and awesome deal. very streetable and very nice clutch to drive. Pedal feels a little stiffer than stock but not much. Its holding for me for the past 8000 miles and I gots 377whp. just my 2 cents

Great customer service and nice people to work with! Had a problem with the SPECII clutch chattering it end up being the flywheel was not surfaced correctly. I had no receipt and just told them when it was installed and what they could do for me. SPEC resurfaced the flywheel correctly and rebuild and upgraded my clutch up to a SPECIII for very little money. Plus they are a sponsor of NICO!!

Ive had the spec stage 3 for a few months now. Its the 6 puck w/sprung hub. Engages very smooth, almost like stock. Im pretty happy with it, and i think it was about $100 less than ACT.

I would also go With Exedy! Exedy is the king of clutches! Act also works well, but go with exedy..

Comp Clutch Stage 4 or 5, we use alot of those on our ka-t's making more than 300 tq, I run their stage 5 on my vert sitting at about 250, and it's daily driven.
