Hey guys I bought the K&N Air Filter Recharge Kit and am currently in the process of cleaning my air filter off of my injen air intake. I am preparing to oil the filter, but am not sure how much oil is to much and I do not want to risk over oiling. If anyone had any tips or anything to help me judge when its oiled enough they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hmm. I just normally give a good coat till I start to notice some running then I just wipe down any excess. I really don't think there would be trouble from over-oiling, I think if anything not oiling it enough would be a problem. I'm no mechanic though.

I've done this several times. Oil the filter enough so the filter turns to a ruby red color. That should take about 3 coats of the spray.
