Help with choosing right parts '99 LE???

I have searched and searched but have not found what I am trying to figure out. I want to replace the front struts on my '99 Pathfinder LE but do not know which ones to order. All the sites show the years from like 96-99, then 99-01 and even some 99-04 all on the same page same manufacturer. I can't figure out which ones will fit the 99 and which ones are for the 99.5 and above. Any help would be greatly appreciated, or where to find what exactly changed from 99-99.5 and how to decipher parts. If only I had a 98 or a 00 this wouldn't be an issue. Thanks in advance!! the easiest and bestest way 2 firgure that out is to go 2 a nissan dealership with your vin and they would tell you what u need 2 no 4 instant 1 part might work from 96 to march of 99 anf from april of 99 to 2004 might be a dirrent part # check the door sticker or glove compartment for month and year of production is another way
