help with cams

I changed my head gasket out and timing chain and now it will not start. i think the cams got mixed up but how would i know for sure if not i think i got the chains on wrong? Help!!!!!!!!!

why do you think its wrong? other then the fact it wont start

back firing through the intake but i started to take in apart and when i had the valve cover off i noticed that the cams shafts on the jim wolf web site where in a diffrent order then mine ihave the yellow one on the right does this matter at all thats just a last chance before i go and start taking it apart

they should be marked with an I and an E somewhere on the shaft. also one can has a sensor wheel at the rear located on the intake shaft. the wheel may or may not be on the shaft. i am going from memory on a transverse mounted altima ka24de. I am struggling to visualize the inside of the vavle cover on a 240 but i believe they used the same shafts.

if that is true then they are wrong cause the one on the right side has an i stamped on it . my friend help me put this together he is ASE certified but has bet working on airplanes with me for about a year and may have put it in wrong. will any thing get messed up by switching them around ? if ot is not his then i am stuck tearing back apart .can not wait to do that ha ha. thanks for the help

yeah, there could be very bad consequences to installing the cams wrong. You could bend the valves...........assuming it is an interference valvetrain design.

so I guess the question is "Is it an interference design?"
