help with ca18det

hello iam a noob to the forum and to the whole nissan scene i was big in to the vw scene and i just recently picked up a 1990 240sx i was looking into swapping in the ca18det into it i just need to know what are all the parts that i need to complete the swap. do i need to buy a front clip or can i get away with just the engine,trans ecu and harness. any help will be appreciated thank in adavanced

this has been covered 8 million times, u can find it if u search.....basiclly what u need is a full engine with harness and ecu, mounts lin up and all that ****! get a fmic and make custom piping or use the stick side mount and use stock piping it dont matter but all u relly need for the motor if a full harness, ecu, and all the parts that go with the motor

I tried the search wasent to sure of what to search for thanks for the help so i def dont need a front clip

When searching just pick the ca or sr for wiring and then choose archived and type in wiring. SR and CA wiring is pretty much the same except the knock sensor. Also a front clip is not needed as long as you are good a fabricating or have enough money to buy a front mount some elec. fans and other little things....i think the basic set-up is this-walbro fuel pump-3in. sr turbo outlet and downpipe-some kind of front mount either ssac or greddy -some type of BOV unless staying stock -wiring -little misc things like fuel lines and fuel filter, vaccum lines and heater/coolant hoses. which add up very quickly. especially i/c couplers
