Hey guys, my tires are rubbing and can't roll the fenders because one of the quarters has bondo in it and it will crack. So i'm trying to find rear coilovers for $200 or lower. Which brand is good? and is this a good idea to do this? Do they sell them just the rears by themselves?
Here's pics of the rubbing and everything.

Do you mean Rear Upper Control Arms so you can adjust the camber on your rear tires so you dont' rub anymore?

not really. but a bad toe will eat up quickly than camber for sure. since there's bondo in your quarter panel, a narrower wheel is your best bet to not rub.

when you say narrower wheel are you talking about the side wall of the tire?

I tried but I think theres metal down there too and i think it will rub either way until it gets a pull.
I didnt use a sand block. i used a grinder that was on a drill and it just ended up making it sharper under there

dang dude, it sounds like you still have a lot to learn about your rear suspension.

Anyways, from the looks of your sig (assuming that's your car), you probably just need a decent roll of your rear fenders. Pulling may not be necessary. With that being said, if youre careful enough, you may be able to roll it flat without affecting that bondo you were talking about.

You're tires already looked pretty stretched, and if you lower it more without touching your rear upper control arms (maybe even leave it stock?), it'll tuck in real nice with a good 1.5"-2" drop. The way the suspension geometry works is that if you push your rears down, the top of the wheels move inward... meaning that the tire and fender shouldn't touch

i'm talking about the physical wheel. bondo around the quarter panel areas always create problems. I don't know how much bondo your car has.

I would just sell the car and get a cleaner one with no bondo.

I put it up for sale locally but really don't want to sell her. 90k original miles right now and runs perfect.
I want a s13.5 or s14.5 with a SR so idk maybe i should just do that

Car looks pretty clean, shame to sell it just because your rubbing fender. Another, more expensive option would be over fenders or fender flares- just putting it out there.

I have a 190000 miles on my beater 240sx and it still runs excellent. all it needs some cheap tein tie rods set. don't feel bad about the 90k mileage. you can sell it to some kid for like 4500 judging from the looks and save up two more grand. then get yourself some nice sr swapped 240. the only down side is that you didn't do the work.
