help with an engine

where can i find a crankshaft and flywheel for ca18det.... can i use them from other engines like sr20det or ka24de?

You can get the crank from the US ca16de or ca18de. Not sure about the flywheel, but I know you can't use em from the SR or KA.

1987 PULSAR NX.SE with CA16DE engine1988 PULSAR NX.SE with CA18DE engine.

Flywheel, I know the flywheel from the ca18de is bigger in diameter and heavier than teh ca16de one, but both will plug in (definitely dont use the ca16de one as it has smaller clutch and won't hold the power), the ca18de will work, but not sure if it will work on a RWD configuration thought.

I am pretty sure you can get a spare DET flywheel from some members on this forum, I might have one, I have to double check on that, Also, Boost_Boy might have one.

Pulsar GTR is dead on, but I don't think that you can use the FWD CA18DE flywheel on a RWD transmission.

You can as the ring gears are the same diameter, but the clutch surface on the FWD flywheel is smaller.
