sounds like coolant maybe. probably leaking from the heater core? i have the same problem, except it's so small i can slightly smell it, but it doesn't drip on my foot.

yup, sounds liek a heatercore, I've not done one in a Z32 but every car I've done has been a huge PITA!

as for power steering, the fluid you use has to be Dextron type ATF!, regular power steering fluid is too thina nd will make a small leak big in a hurry! the fill is on the passanger side, it's a round contailner to the left of the engine with a black top

from what i hear, the unit isn't that much money. but since the engine bay is so packed, it's going to be a PITA to replace.

the core isn't int he engine bay, it's under the dash, and thats what mmakes them such a pita, some cars require dash removal!

Sounds like the dreaded heater core. If it's leaking as much as you say, I'd pull it off the road or it might get everywhere under the dash...wiring...etc., or worse leave you stranded.I can smell mine ever so slightly, and am going to change the core out this fall when I take it off the road, but all the writups I have seen by people that have done it say you have to pretty much remove the entire dash and it's probably a couple day job.
