help with a ground on the s13 motor

I forgot were the little ground strap that plugs into the firewall just above the back of the motor goes.Do i bolt it on to the back of the head around were the heater hoses go,or does it bolt on to the valve cover?And this is on a 92 240 with a s13 redtop.Thanks for the help.

I believe it goes to the back of the valve cover, but I'm not 100% sure though. I don't think it would really make a difference as long as it makes good contact.

I'd just put that small ground for the valvecover than run grounds with larger gauge wires for the block, cylinder head, intake manifold and whatever else you want.

it goes on the back of the block. Shaun

The one I pulled recently was on the head I believe. I know I pulled the valve cover and is wasn't there and I am pretty sure it came out with the head.

the one that screws into the firewall is from the head.

Ok,Thanks guys,Im going to put it on the head in one of those 12mm bolt holes.
