From what I've read you can use '72-'79 F100 or F150 2WD front coil springs to lift the rear 2-3" and to lift the front you can adjust your torsion bars all the way up to increase your front end lift at no charge. The downside is the torsion bars would be more prone to failure, anybody have experience with this method? I am really only looking for a 2-3" lift and to me it seems that 3-400 dollars is a bit 'overpriced' for that. The above method would be in the $20-30 range. I already have 30" tires and dont plan on going any bigger, possibly 31's someday but its not a priority. I'd just like it to look a bit better. I realize I could also do a body lift but that would afford me zero performance increase.

My info above is based off the below link:http://www.nissanpathfinders.com/lifts.htm

I've been driving my 93 for over 5 years with stock SE rims. I have always ran 31x10.5x15 with no problems with rubbing front fenders while turning or bottoming the rear. In my opinion, tires are the best investment for your veihicle. They are the only thing between you and the road. In my 25 of diving 4x4, I would choose BF Goodrich All-Terrain or Mud Terrain.

Hope this helps,

PS I also would like to raise my Pathy up to only to fit 33's on. Thanks for your comment.
