help with 240sx This is pretty weird.

I have a 92 240sx with the ka24de still in it. The car runs great, but im having an issue starting it. If the car has sit all night and I go to crank it in the morning it cranks fine. But if i drive the car to go eat or something and let it sit for awhile (like an hour and a half or so) it wont crank back unless while cranking it i pump the gas a couple of times. Ive also noticed if I pump the gas a couple of times before i crank it that it cranks most of the time also. Ive not really tried anything because I was planning on swapping in the SR but im not that sure yet. Has anyone ever had this problem . Ive searched the forums and ive found alot of stuff on the ka not cranking but ive not found any problem like mine.

When was the last time you changed your fuel filter?Changed spark plugs?Have you checked your vacuum lines?
