my headlights dont go up and down at the same time. the drivers side one comes up a little bit before the passenger one and goes down a little before the passenger one. does anyone know how to time the motors to go up and down at the same time or how to fix this problem?

thanks

im no pro but if you look around with others and the lazy/sleepy eyes you can see it's pritty hard to find perfectly balanced headlights...as a matter of fact, sometimes the way you make them sleepy can drain and ultimately kill the motor...not saying that you do have lazy eyes but i'm saying the motors do die out...bummer....how bad is it? just cosmetic?

This is what im thinking. Take a look at the motor of the lights. If you have a DMM (sorry im in wyotech and im getting used to the terminology) voltmeter, just do a voltage drop of the motor, see how much volts its getting/suppose to be getting. Also check and make sure that there is no unwanted resistance for the flow of electricity I.e. corrosion. Keep in mind it does find its ways into wires.

id say one gets almost half way up before the other does. i do have sleepy eyes. i just did it the cheap way because i dont really care if i can turn them on or not. you know, where you just cut the brown wire and double click the headlight button to make them go down. i was hopeing to get them to move at the same time so i dont have to turn the knobs on the motors to even them out every time i want sleepy eyes. but the motors were out of time before i did the sleepy eyes mod. i only did the mod yesterday and have had the car for a couple months and when i bought it the lights were out of time.

i dont have a volt meter or anything like that so i cant check them. any other suggestions on how to tweak them?
