Hey all...just curious if there is a write up somewhere on changing brake pads for a 2010 G37x coupe. I found this how-to on doing it for the Sport Edition, but I just have the standard brakes, and it doesn't look like they are similar:

I've only changed pads once before in my life on my old Pontiac GXP and I think that was as easy as it could get. I ordered some Hawk Yellow ceramics for my G37 from TunerzStore and would like to give her the ol' college try, but I would like some kind of reference to just be sure I am not missing anything. Am I going to have to remove the entire caliper, or is there going to be a pin/plate combo that will let me just slide them out and back in?

I appreciate any guidance. Thanks!

Hey dbax! The process is essentially identical. Although they look dissimilar, the rest is the same.

Here's another DIY article with calipers more similar to yours: diy-brake-pads-rotors-t558899.html
