Help with 180sx tail light wiring..

Hey guys..

I just installed my 180sx tail light and need instructions on how to wire them together.. any pointers or suggestions is greatly appreciated..

I've tried searching on NICO, freshalloys and even google but no luck..

I would like to start driving my 240 again once the tail lights are fixed..

Its SUPER easy, i just did this upgrade to my 240 about a month ago.

1. Cut all of the clips off the back of your stock taillights, making sure to leave enough of the wire to splice into the back of the 180sx tails.

2. Cut all of the clips off of the back of the 180sx tails, making sure to leave enough wire still on the taillights to splice into the USDM taillights.

3. Splice all USDM clips to wires on 180sx tails. This part is REALLY SIMPLE ALL OF THE COLORS MATCH UP so just work your way from right to left or vice versa. I myself cut and spliced one section of lights at a time to prevent any wire confusion. (Be professional and solder the wires to prevent haveing to later go back in and rewire. Also use heatshrink wrap or electrical tape to cover up the soldered wires)

4. Plug your JDM lights with USDM clips into your USDM wiring harness and ENJOY!

I hope this helps you, and prevents you from cutting into your cars wiring harness. That is something that should be avoided with such a simple mod.

P.S. if you have your new tails on the car already it will make it much easier to do this if you take them back off.

thanks 240HKS.. Unfortunately the tailights are already installed and the only thing that I need to do is cut the wires and put them all together.. I'll check them out later and see what I can do..,

I was wondering if there was any adapter that is available? Does any one know wiring harness that is on the stock US tail lights and what the JDM tail light uses?
