Help wiring my Rb25det silvia (S13)

hi,

i am in need of help on how to wire my rb25det silvia.

its an auto by the way. so i am just wondering if anyone has done this with an auto, and made it work correctly.

also how has everyone gone about wiring there rb25det's into S13's.

what do i have to do. i know i have to cut into the rb25det lume, but where.

anyone who has done this wiring job. if u could post an FAQ i would consider you an absolute legend.

It will be a few months (when I get back home)... but I will post my stuff as soon as i get it all figured out. All I have to do is set it up so the lights work... everything else works. I have a RB20DET by the way.

i have been saved, got a guy doing it for me and thanks to night aswell.

only problem now is to know what radiator to use, so the car cools well.

Haha you think you got it tough. I'm doing the RB25DET swap into a 1990 H/B Auto to Manual, AND figuring out how to put an S15 gauge cluster(should get it next week!) into the dash panel and making everything work.

Could I possibly do things the easy way? NOOOOO

im also doin a RB25 in my 89 coupe..... plus auto to manual conversion... today i pulled the motor from the clip and was lookin at the dash connector for the harness.. and all the same wires that are used in the SR swap are all there. so im assuming that i can wire it basicly the same way as doin a SR?

why are you using an s15 gauge cluster?

Not to be cool. Was never my intention. I did it because I want to do it. Because I love the look of the S15 gauges, and it'll work with the interior I'm going to put in(color matching-wise)

hey, justinstrife or cyris3dI too am considering doing a 89 coupe auto to rb25det manual swap. What all is needed as far as the auto to manual, will everything you need come with the front clip?thanksda skiz

If you're going through Night, you should have most everything u need for the swap if I remember correctly. Give him a call he's really cool and straight forward and knows what he's doing. He called me one night when I had questions and didn't BS nothing.

I got my sparco shift knob waiting patiently to sit in my 180sx :)

Automatics really kill the true nature of this car. I get a pain in my heart everytime I see mine with that auto transmission shifter.

P.S. I was considering maybe going through McKinney to do my RB swap but they want 8k for it! For 8k I can do the swap and have some suspension stuff thrown in there easy.
