Help! Will this fender fit????

somebody help! I just bought a 91 240 with some drivers side fender damage. I found a new fender but from a 1990 240. I am hearing from more than one place that the 90 fender won't fit on the 91, however when I compare pictures they look the same. One of you nissan junkies please help before i drop $60 on a fender that won't fit!

Yes it will fit but...............you have to drill 2 holes in it to get the fender trim piece to attach so the bottom of the fender sits flush with the bumper.

Thanks for your help!! I will definitely be here often and look forward to learning more about my 240! Also, the hatch under the spoiler is rusted out, is there anyway around cutting it out and welding a new piece in it? Anyone got one for sale?? I've looked at several hatches and it seems to be the case for each.

options on the hatch are: buy a used one without spoiler, or get yours repair. If the rust is not that bad, get it repair. Spoirless hatches are becoming rare to find..... If the repairs will cost you more than a used hatch then try to find a used hatch on the For sale forum.....
