Listen too this kook. You try to be staight w/ people and they respond w/ **** like this......100% dork. So you are saying the Alti Coupe is not a good car?

Let's see you own a G35 and you post on a Alti board (why?). You get your oil changed at an Nissan dealer (why?).

My buddy has a G35 and he gets his oil changed "free" at the Infinity dealer. Do you feel that you are special in the G35.....sh1t they are a dime a dozen in So Cal (specially were we live) along w/ Beamers. Benz, Audis, Lexux,....ect...why don't you go get your oil changed there and see how cool you "think" you are.

BTW the Infinity rep mentioned I made a good choice on getting a new Alti Coupe over a used G35. I have an extended warrenty and can resell independently w/ good equity in 4 to 5 years. When I do my car payment will be the same as it is now w/ a "new" G Coupe. The loaded G37 is now 10K-12K more then what we paid this time (including the Mods and extended warrenty on our Alti). BTW my wife wants a "new" car and she wants all the bells and whistles. As mentioned I am very happy w/ the Alti Coupe.

Do us all a favor and go over to your "G" board and see how cool they think you are.

BURN!!!! I smell a G35 thats smoking!!

Wow you guys are so sensitive - I must have touched a nerve. Did you forget the title of the thread - surely you would expect some folks to talk about the G right? Kaya - what happened to the bear and popcorn????

I never said the Altima was not a good car. It is a great car - what I said is that those that don't need to have the FWD and dont need to have newest latest can really come off and save money at the same time by purchasing a lightly used G. This is a fact and it responds directly to the original question asked - don't get mad because yall don't like the answers.

As for Nissan service - you may also remember that 350Z - essentially the same car and engine as the G is sold by Nissan. Along with every other variant of the basic 3.5 liter Nissan engine. So why would I pay more for the same service at an Infiniti dealer - same Nissan parts will be used either way. That just doesn't make sense. Remember I'm the guy that paid almost half price for an almost new car - If you couldn't tell I don't like to waste money.

Gs are not a dime a dozen here in Baltimore, so yeah there is a little exlcusivity. The car that the G replaced in my driveway was a Lexus LS so actually the Infiniti G was a bit of a step down.

Good Luck.

You feel big and powerful with a G35? Go check out a Lancer MR.
The whole idea of using a quote is to respond directly to something stated in the quote. Nowhere in any of my posts did I say I feel big and powerful in a G35. If you quote me - make sure you read the quote first.

I'm not sure what a Lancer is, but if it is a Mitsubishi - then I'll pass on that one. I've never heard the Mitubishi brand mentioned in the same sentence as Luxury or Panache. There are no Mitsubishis in my car buying history or the forseeable future. I'm 36 and past the fast and furious days.

Hi guys, sorry i hadent updated my status for a while i have all of you arguing now , well all in all i did test drive both cars, and ended up buying a 2005 inifiniti G35 with roughly 19k miles, for 26k, although the thought of having a brand new car and my butt being the first to sit on those seats, my true desire was to own an infiniti, they are a blast to drive. plus i get a few stares. Thank you all for helping me better understand both vehicles, i will post some pics as soon as a get them, for now C YALL

Congratulations - great choice and it sounds like you got a good deal for the mileage. Post some pictures when you get a chance.
