HELP: Which aftermarket exhaust!??!

im extremely interesting in buying an aftermarket cat-back exhaust for my a/c 3.5SE but im stuck inbetween 3 exhaust brands-NISMO cat-back-Borla cat-back-Tanabe Medalion touring cat-back

Im leaning toward the NISMO because of the great import/350z/g35 coupe import sound.

I was wondering what everyone who owns these particular exhaust has to say about each one. thanks!

I understand your dilemma. I am in the boat as such that I am looking for something with a deep muscelly sound. WRONG MODE OF THOUGHT on my part. I gotta start thinking "V6" lol. I have had a V8 for so dang long and been around the muscle car scene for way too long as well.

I have heard all three exhausts you have listed and the deep tones lover in me loves the Borla, but the Nismo is really cool with the european tones....Im not a big fan of Tanabe. I owned two Eclipse Turbos (1st and 2nd gen) and I just never cared for the Tanabe sound or look. I actually ended up doing R&D here in Phoenix back in the day for the first Import exhausts done by FlowMaster. That was cool. But I don't see any FlowMaster systems for the Nissan. Hmmmm? now I have a thought.....

My money is on the Nismo when Im ready to payout for an exhaust. But I really ike them all. Like someone here says, "To each his own!" and I have lotsa respect no matter whatcha choose.

Ummm maybe if it was a cat back and not axle back and maybe if it wasn't 1K. I'd say if you had to pick right now go for the Nismo. If you can wait though, GReddy's exhaust is coming out and there is supposed to be a mean Artisan Performance exhaust in the works.

the nismo is one sweet sounding exhaust and imo the best on the market so far.with greddy and artisan coming out with exhaust systems i'd hold off until you see what they have to offer. you might regret jumping the gun when these two drop if you purchase now. just my .02

I had the nismo Cat Back on my QR25 Spec-V and IMO it sounded heads and tails better than anything else out there on the market. It wasn't ricey at all and offered a pretty low sounding tone. I've heard the nismo exhaust on a vid on youtube and from what i can hear...it sounds really good.

Too true. Do you know the Artisan Performance guys? If so can you find out some more info on the cat back exhaust? I tried contacting them to no avail and I'm so tempted to jump on the Nismo.

lol Sorry I know I'm anxious. I don't think I'd go for 1K exhaust knowing the Nismo is more than comprable in quality and almost half the price. The GReddy might not sound too great, i think its the SP2 line right? Also Loop would know because I'm pretty sure hes getting test fitted for the GReddy.

All of the Greddy dual exhaust systems look good to me, especially the SP2. I hope it sounds amazing since I have been waiting for it for so long.

i just bought and installed the nismo exhaust....absolutely love it!! didnt exactly feel that way at first, thought it was alright..but after driving it for the past 2 days im in love
