HELP where does the green wire go?

my stock tach doesnt work so im hooking up an autometer tach on my s14sr with the wc ecu.i tried to hook the green wire to the tach signal output and its not working.if it doesnt work there then what should i hook the green wire to.i searched but i found no answers

if i remember correctly, autometer tachs will not work with 4 cyl. engines right out of the box.... i think there are 2 little loops that stick out the back of the tach.... i think for 4 cyl. you have to cut both of the loops. don't hold me to that, but you may want to look at the wiring instructions provided by autometer.

i did and i already cut the right wires in the back i just need to know where the green wire goes
